This course curriculum is designed for hoteliers, restauranteurs, tea room owners/managers, hospitality institutions, cafés and groups interested in acquiring an introductory knowledge in tea.

• Minimum group size- 15 participants

Course Details

This training session will comprise basic knowledge of tea and the process of sensory evaluation. The following topics will be covered during the course:-

• Basics of Tea (Camellia sinensis).

• Introduction to the primary varieties of tea - White, Green, Oolong, Black and Pu-erh tea.

  
  

• An Introduction to Brewing Tea the Right Way.

• An Introduction to Tea Tasting Method.

• Tea Tasting Session of 10 varieties of Conventional Teas, Herbal Teas and Tisanes.

  
  

• Pairing of Tea with Chocolate and Cheese.

Policies

Confirmation Policy

• The participant receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

• In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the participant’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email

• Alternatively, the participant may choose to cancel their booking and a full refund will be processed

Cancellation Policy

• If cancellation is done at least 15 days prior to the commencement of the program, 25% of the advance payment shall be deducted and the balance amount shall be refunded.

• If cancellation is done lesser than 15 days prior to the commencement of the program, 50% of the advance payment shall be deducted and the balance amount shall be refunded

• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.

Refund Policy

• The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
